RIP Carla Rinaldi

It is with overwhelming sadness that I have to report that our mentor, friend, inspiration and member of CIRCI’s scientific advisory committee passed away on Wednesday 16 April at 78 years old.

Her role as the ambassador for the Reggio approach, her work as the Chairman of the Reggiochildren Foundation, and her place as one of the small group around Loris Malaguzzi made her an international figure and earned her an international reputation.

She was instrumental in bringing CIRCI to Reggio Emilia, and her loss will be felt every day for decades to come.
