2. Collaborations.
The Centre actively publishes scholarship, original writings and translations on its website. It actively collaborates with The Book Initiative (TBI), which focuses its efforts on illustrated books.
Support a Circi Scholar.
It only takes €25.000/year to support the work of a post-doctoral student.
CIRCI has agreements with the Kunsthistorishes Institut in Florence, the University of Bolzano and the University of of Modena/Reggio Emilia to support doctoral and post-doctoral research. Current research projects include: Modernist architecture in Soviet children’s books; a comparative study of children’s theatre; the first museum of children’s books; Comenius and the legacy of Orbis Pictus; the changing nature of contemporary playground rhymes.
